I'm Ferrister Mirembe, building toward remote administrative roles for both local and global teams. Executive support, financial systems, operations coordination, and the infrastructure that keeps distributed teams running.
Ferrister Mirembe is an Administrative Assistant building toward remote administrative roles for both local and global teams.
Currently manages the full administrative operation at Wajabu Junior School, calendars, records, correspondence, admissions, and stakeholder communication, while simultaneously providing remote virtual assistant and operations support to clients across Uganda, the African region, and internationally.
Core scope of work: executive-level calendar and schedule management, financial model design and reporting, cross-functional stakeholder coordination, documentation systems, and meeting and event logistics. Recent work includes designing and building a linked financial model (income statement, cash flow, balance sheet) to support executive-level financial decision-making at Wajabu.
Also runs CMD Sport Africa, a blog covering sport, business, and culture across the continent, and is currently completing bookkeeping training to strengthen financial reporting capability.
Take a look around; my experience, skills, and the work I've been doing are all here. I hope they give you a clear enough picture to want to reach out. I'd love to be part of what helps your team move.

Ferrister joined us as Secretary and Administrative Assistant and immediately brought a level of organisation we had not had before. Within her first month she had designed a full term activity calendar and set up an inventory tracking system that we still use today. She manages our correspondence, handles parent communication, coordinates scheduling, and keeps our records accurate without needing to be reminded. She is reliable, discreet, and genuinely invested in the work. I would recommend her without hesitation for any administrative or coordination role.
I worked with Ferrister across two organisations and she consistently delivered work that went beyond what was asked. She handled our social media content, designed materials in Canva, drafted newsletters, programme documents, and director portfolios entirely independently. Everything she produced was professional, well-structured, and ready to share externally without revision. What stood out most was that she understood what we were trying to communicate and translated that into materials that genuinely represented us well. She is creative, thorough, and trustworthy with sensitive information. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Beyond the CV — the curiosity, the sports I live for, and what's playing while I build.
Reading a book, in the middle of a sewing or crochet project, writing something down, or watching sport. I genuinely love all of these things and they keep me sane. I'm also a new sports fan — I only really started watching in 2024, which honestly makes it so much more fun. Everything is still fresh and exciting. I went from barely knowing standings to genuinely caring about results, players, rivalries, and what's happening behind the scenes. No regrets whatsoever.
I'm drawn to how things get built — the strategy behind organisations, the economics of industries, the infrastructure that makes communities move. I'm actively working towards a stronger business and data science foundation because the future I want genuinely requires that fluency, and I find the learning exciting.
Once I started watching I couldn't stop. I follow Liverpool in the Premier League, the Celtics in the NBA, WNBA, F1 (Ferrari — obviously), MotoGP, and tennis. In tennis my favourites are Sabalenka, Serena Williams, and Naomi Osaka — three very different players but each one fascinating to watch for different reasons. I also think African sport is one of the most underleveraged stories of this decade, and I want to be part of how it gets told.
