My approach to operations and calendar management
1
Audit every Monday
Review the full week before it starts. Identify what needs sending, printing, confirming, or escalating. Nothing should surprise leadership mid-week.
2
Communicate early
Parent reminders go out days before events, not the morning of. Staff updates go out Monday morning. Stakeholders always know what is coming.
3
Document everything
Every meeting has minutes. Every decision has a record. Every task has an owner and a deadline. Nothing lives only in someone's head.
4
Track to completion
Action items are followed up before deadlines, not after. If something is at risk, leadership knows in advance, not when it is already late.
